- **Event Description**: Join award winning local artist Rachael Peters for a hands-on exploration of oil painting. Whether you’re just starting out or have some experience, this workshop is a welcoming space to play, learn, and grow your creativity. This 6 week-long will course take you through the basics of painting, covering tone, colour harmony & composition, learning through painting the still life.

*Six Saturdays - starting October 18 2025
*2pm - 4pm at the YH Small Room
*Max 6 adult participants

Suggested $20 or $110 for the 6 sessions / PWYC

This workshop series is being hosted on the unceded, asserted & shared traditional territories of Penelakut, Lamalcha, Hwlitsum and other Hul’qumi’num and SENĆOŦEN speaking peoples, Coast Salish Peoples of Galiano, as well as the ceded territories of Tsawwassen First Nation, on what is now known as Galiano Island.
